Organising responsible finance conferences

To promote responsible finance practices at the sectoral level, the European Fund for Southeast Europe through its Development Facility, together with the respective regulators, is organising conferences on responsible finance.

Responsible finance conferences were organised in Serbia (in 2007), Kosovo (in 2009), Albania (in 2009, Bosnia and Herzegovina (in 2009) and Georgia (2010) together, with the respective central banks and KfW Entwicklungsbank (the German Development Bank). The goal of these conferences was to bring the theme of responsible finance closer to financial sector experts and stakeholders while raising awareness among the public through broad local media coverage.
