Innovations

EFSE promotes innovations in the financial markets of Southeast Europe with the aim to strengthen financial intermediaries, expand their scope and scale of services for micro entrepreneurs and low-income private households. Some examples are:

structuring of the first guarantee for an Albanian microfinance institution, or
a comprehensive package offering to one of the leading rural microfinance institutions in Kosovo, blending various instruments, including the Fund's first equity participation.
